In February, a talk event by Takahiro Imanami and Tomohito Yoneno was held at WACCA Ikebukuro.Another daidokoroWas held at.

――So far, many events have been held with professional baseball players as guests.Has there been any impact from the spread of the new coronavirus infection?

Takamatsu:We were able to hold the "Satozaki Channel Talk Live in Koista 2nd" with Tomoya Satozaki (former Chiba Lotte) as a guest in early March, but after April, we were able to hold it as planned. The holding of the event was postponed.

Currently, we are moving to an online location and holding talk shows by OB players, but in the future, we would like to take preventive measures against infection while watching the situation and gradually restart events using the venue. I think.

--Many events have been held so far. What kind of PR has been done?

Takamatsu:In most cases, you found information via Twitter and actually came to the event. I don't have a lot of followers on my account, but I'm always happy to hear from you.

――It seems that you delivered an e-mail newsletter when you renewed the service this time.

Takamatsu:I have been continuously communicating my thoughts in writing using blogs etc., but when I sent an e-mail newsletter to inform you of the renewal of the service, the opening rate exceeded 60%. I did.

I think this is because it is intended for those who have participated in Utchae events even once, but this seems to be an amazing number. I would like to continue to manage the community so that I can meet the high expectations of everyone.

――The opening of professional baseball, which has been postponed for a long time, has been decided on June 19th, right?

Takamatsu:I think that there are many fans who are pleased with the opening schedule, but for a while after the opening, there will be no spectators. Many people will enjoy watching the game with videos.

As baseball enthusiasts are gradually increasing by the start of the game, I want to provide and manage valuable content because I can't watch the game now.

For example, ask OB players for live commentary and have everyone participating in the community get excited. We are thinking of various developments so that you can enjoy baseball other than watching games.

――On the other hand, there was some disappointing news, such as the decision to cancel high school baseball. Mr. Takamatsu himself used to be a high school baseball player, but how do you see the current situation?

Takamatsu:High school baseball is my starting point. Even after going out into society, the successful experiences of those days have been a support. I was able to feel the joy of producing results through my own efforts, overcoming failures with my colleagues, and growing as a team. I think that it is only with the experience of those days that I can work on things with the belief that "If you continue to make efforts without giving up, you will get results someday."

――Mr. Takamatsu also has experience as a coach in the baseball club of his alma mater when he was a college student. If, at that time, high school baseball was not held like this year, what would you do as an instructor?

Takamatsu:In my two and a half years of devoting myself to baseball when I was in high school, I think there is definitely something that has accumulated and grown up to this point. Do you talk about the fact that what you have accumulated through baseball may come to life in a different way somewhere in your life, while being close to the feelings of the students?

I myself am a "baseball player" who was brought up in baseball, so maybe in a situation like this year, if I talk to everyone in front of me, my emotions will rise and I'm sure I will cry.

Unless you are a party in the field, you will not be able to understand all the feelings of cancellation, and it may be difficult to make adjustments, but as a personal feeling, to all the baseball players, even a little summer I would like to retire after enjoying the atmosphere of the tournament.

I think that everyone has various circumstances, but it is also possible to have competitions and practice games in each region, so I have a strong desire to find out what we can do to take the next step.

――Finally, do you have a message for baseball fans and those who are involved in the Utchae community?

Takamatsu:I've loved baseball since I was little, and professional baseball players have always been my dream. While professional baseball players are a profession that inspires many people, there are still many cases where a second career after retirement becomes an issue.

I would like to create a community that can support the next challenge of baseball players who have influenced the lives of many people.

I want to create an unprecedented community where players can liven up the story of their next life with their fans, so it's because we continue to refrain from playing baseball together. Let's raise the heat.
