"I don't think about anything before the goal." Nakajima Shogo emphasizes, "scoring sense" as a striker [Adidas latest model presentation Vol. 2]

Adidas' new sprint spike presentation "ADIDAS WORLD CUP DAY 2018" will be held on the 20th in Tokyo, and Portugal's first section Portimomonense MF Shogo Nakajima attended as a special guest. Participated in a talk session with Masayuki Okano, director of the same guest Jubilo Iwata, directed by Hiroshi Nanami, and GM, who is the managing director of the Gainale Tottori. A talk was held on the theme of "sprint" that is necessary for modern football, in which he talked about the difference in speed between Portugal and Japan, and the sense before his own goal.

MC: In this talk session, I would like to discuss with you on the theme of why sprints are important in modern football. First of all, I would like to ask Mr. Nami. Do you feel that short counters are a trend in the soccer world even if you look at the world such as Europe?

Thumb dsc 8826

Nanami: Of course I feel. The short counter is a tactic that symbolizes modern football, rather than possession soccer that connects balls together.

It feels so, including the pressure linkage from a high position, the speed of the first defender's return, and the quality of the first play after taking the ball at a good angle.

So, the time to finish is shorter in the tactics called the short counter to the press from the front than the tactics aiming at the long counter by retreating (tactics where almost everyone falls to the team and defends the goal firmly after being deprived of the ball) I think I'm terrible.

MC: Thank you. So, I ’m going to ask Nakajima. Do you feel like you ’re playing in Portugal and feel that “the time to go directly to the goal is short”?

Thumb dsc 8837

Naoshima:I agree. I think that the Portuguese League is faster than the J.League, and that there are more dashes and sprints and the power level is higher than Japan. The

MC: I see. Is there an instruction that focuses on sprints, such as “let's attack fast” as a team?

Naoshima:Yes. Sprints aiming at the other side of the opponent are required by the team, and weapons that are more directly connected to the goal are always required.

MC: After all, the point in the tactics is “fast attack”. Did Okano prioritize “quick attack” such as a short counter during his career?

Thumb dsc 8847

Okano: In my case, it was a “one-person counter” rather than a short counter (laughs). It is said that it will run behind the scenes on its own.

So, it ’s very important to take a high position and go straight to the goal at the moment. Because i was uri. I predicted that I wouldn't take away my game every game, and I was always behind the scenes.

MC: When you played with Okano, did you give a pass with awareness of the characteristics of such a FW?

Thumb dsc 8852

Nanami:I agree. I was aiming for a space in front of Okano at the moment I took the ball. Speaking of words, even if you give a pass properly (Okano), you can run (laughs). I also played balls that would compete with the opponent.

I'm looking at Shoya from the Tokyo Verdy era (2012-2013), but I think it's always a pre-selection, rather than a direct goal selection, so it's a representative player as a model case in this short counter era.

MC: Thank you. I would like you to talk about spikes from here. So, Nakajima, can you tell us about the importance of spikes that you think will be useful in developing an effective sprint?

Thumb dsc 8859

Naoshima: It's important for me to have a bare foot sensation, usually wearing spikes, but not feeling sensibly.

I also care about the appearance of spikes. I don't like dark colors or inconspicuous colors, so in that sense I really like Adidas spikes, including design.

MC: So, I would like you to watch the current video while paying attention to the spike.

(Here, the VTR of Nakajima in the Portuguese league was played on the monitor of the venue)

MC: You saw Nakajima's play, how did you see Nakajima's sprint from Mr. Okano?

Thumb dsc 8866

Okano: The prediction is really fast. It looks like I'm always aiming at the back and can react anytime (the ball) spills anywhere. I always predict it, so it's hard to protect my opponent.

The courses that run from then on and how to take the opponent's course are very good. From the opponent's point of view, if you catch it, you get fouled and become a penalty. I think how to take such a course is very good. The final finish is good.

MC: How about Nami-san?

Thumb dsc 8873

Nanami: Not only is the speed of running, but the speed that Okano said is amazing. If you don't have that speed, I don't think there is an image that is directly connected to the goal, so it's great to have both.

Since I was always conscious of the goal even when I was younger than I am now, I think that Shoya now has even more speed in the movement, including the speed to hit the shot.

MC: Do you have anything to think about Nakajima after seeing his play?

Thumb dsc 8868

Naoshima:···Yeah lol)

MC: Nakanaka's own play (laughs)

Naoshima: Well, I don't think my playing is so fast, and I always think I can do it faster. There are a lot of plays that I don't agree with.

MC: What do you feel should be better?

Naoshima: This VTR play is a scene where my shoot hit from the side hits the post and the ally decides the spilled ball, but I think that was a goal.

There was also a scene where I decided to make a loop shot, but I would like to increase the speed a little and decide the loop shot at the same speed as I was running.

MC: I see. So what are you particularly aware of when setting up the front line?

Naoshima: If the ally has the ball, you can see how the player will hold the ball and think about which space to go to.

MC: Don't think anything! ?

Naoshima:Yes. I always do it with my senses without thinking.

MC: I will ask Nami based on the current story. For example, what kind of instructions would you give if Nami was the manager in a team with Nakajima players?

Thumb dsc 8853

Nanami: Speaking of the sender and receiver, Shoya is probably a player who is a frequent player, but first of all, you should be conscious of sharing space with the sender.

And he said, "I don't think anything in front of the goal", but I think that I have the image of the shot, so I shared the space once, and the finish was in my shape Take it. I think that you give such an instruction. Well, I think it's rude to say to a player who has a double digit in Europe (laughs).

MC: I felt that Nakajima was really good at that speed and sense of goal. I was able to hear many precious stories this time. Thank you everyone.
