Is there anything you are working on facing Tokyo now?
実は、いま、自分のフェンシング技術をもう一度作り直してみようと思い、取り組み始めたばかりなんです。ずっと何かを変えてみたいと思っていて、コーチも同じように考えていたようなので。もしかしたらフェンシングスタイル自体を大きく変えるかもしれないです。あとはメンタル面ですね。今は、自分のことはもちろんですが、チームのことも考えなくてはいけないので、考えすぎて溜め込まないように、吐き出す場を作るという意味も兼ねて、メンタル面のアドバイスを受けてみようかなと思っています。

オリンピックまであと２年という時にフェンシングを変えるって、なかなか無謀なことだと思うんですけど、でも、そこまでしても変えたいっていう気持ちが出てきてしまっているので、その気持ちにとことん付き合って、変えていきたいなと思っています。昨年末に行われた全日本選手権では、変えたいという気持ちを持ったまま、迷いが出てしまっていた大会でしたね。

さっきの話と被るんですけど、まさにちょうど今、道具も変えようかと悩んでいるところなんですよ。グリップや剣の重さや硬さも変えてみようかと。持った時に重く感じる方がいいか、軽いと感じるくらいの方がいいか、柔らかい方がいいか硬い方がいいかといった剣の感覚は、個人個人で全然違うと思うんですけどね。それが吉と出るか凶と出るかは、やってみないとわかりませんけどね。

そんなことないんですよ（笑）。団体戦だと声が出るんですけど、個人戦になると内に秘めるタイプになってしまうらしく。自分でもよく分からないんですけど、コーチから、そう言われています（笑）。

Well, are they families? I only meet once or twice a year with my family, but when I return home, it is really a time of healing. Even at the beginning of this year my family went to visit USJ, but no matter how much I am depressed, I would appreciate being in touch with us as usual. I live with my sister, but she has also been fencing all the time so she is a good understanding person. Because it is innocent personality, I feel like laughing at this place (laugh). When I'm alone I feel depressed or think too much, but as my sister is at home, if I do something stupid, I can forget what I dislike.
It is a wonderful family love. I think that it is a competition life with such support but please listen to the future goals.
I think that fencing life will end in Rio, and in the end I am continuing with the goal of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, so I am planning to finish fencing life in Tokyo now. If I finish fencing in Tokyo, I would like to finish with medals and if I want to take medals, I would like to take it with a team. At the London Olympics, when the boys fulle took medals in group battles, "I also wanted to take medals with the team." For that, first of all, it is Asian championships.Toward the Tokyo Olympic Games, As Korea and China become the best rival, it is the immediate goal to win absolutely first of all.
