Mizuno Corporation (President: Akito Mizuno) has been in charge of the official wear of the All Japan Women's Volleyball Team since 1989. This time I asked Mr. Kashiwagi who is in charge of the planning and development of wear which is the 23rd generation model, focusing on the functionality required for volleyball wear.

The blue base was the color we struck out of our company, so I took the attention the first time I adopted blue that I have never seen before at the time of the Rio Olympic Games.

Kashiwagi: ① Material · · · Mizuno began to be in charge of the wear of the All Japan Women's Volleyball Team from 1989 and cotton was adopted as a fabric so that it will be hard to break even when the fabric jumped at the time of receiving . 90年代後半に入ると、より動きやすさを求めて袖丈を短い設計にしました。 また2000年代に入ると、今のユニフォームの原型にもなる 手を上げても脇が見えにくい設計のキャップスリーブタイプを採用しました。
The current model adopts a sleeveless type which does not disturb the main range of motion range. The material is not cotton, but it is made of material that is excellent in wear-resistant meltability called Techno spark stretch which was processed so that it can not be melted even when slipped. ③ Design · Although we used dyeing fabrics in the past, the current model became a sublimation print, and the number of stitches became fewer and the weight was reduced. By putting the crystallite line vertically in the armpit of the wear it is supposed to make the waist look thinner. Pants are reproducing the denim pattern by sublimation.

Kashiwagi: If you make it too thin to make your body look beautiful, you listen to the voice from the players that the wear goes up as you wear a spike and you are wearing a balanced wear design so that it does not become so.

Kashiwagi：バレーボール界を盛り上げていくために全力でサポートしていきます。選手1人1人がプレーに集中できるようなウエア作りをしていかなければならない、と思います。その結果が東京オリンピックに繋がっていけばよいと思っています。 (了)
