Matsuzaka：そうですね。急にフルスイングはなかなかできませんから、小さいころからフルスイングのイメージを身に付けて行けば微調整もできてくると思うので、小さい時は振って振って、野球ではなく、「ベースボールをやって欲しいな！」と言う想いでアパレルも用意しています。
――その想いが他のプロダクトにも繋がっているんですね。

Matsuzaka：今、伏屋と話しているのが、伝統がある野球界に新しい風を吹かせたいなと思っています。アパレルも今までにない野球っぽくないモノを作っていまして、THE野球みたいなのを変えていきたいですね。野球というよりも本場がアメリカのベースボールを体現できるようにしています。
