Characteristics as a player
A left-handed pitcher whose weapons are a fastball that reaches a maximum speed of 153km/h, a sharp slider, and a cut ball. He started playing softball when he was in elementary school, and began playing baseball after joining Odawara Boys during his time at Izumi Junior High School. He was unknown at Shizuoka Gakuen and did not achieve much, but when he went on to Tokai University Shizuoka, his talent became known, and by his fourth year he had risen to become a candidate for University Samurai Japan. His immediate goal after turning pro is to make the opening day first team. He is expected to be a valuable left-handed pitcher who can contribute immediately.

Baseball career
Achievements at Shizuoka Gakuen High School
He started playing baseball in junior high school with the local club team, Odawara Boys. After entering Shizuoka Gakuen High School, he became a regular player in the prefectural tournament in the summer of his first year, starting in three games. He advanced to the third round. In the fall of his first year, the team was eliminated in the regional qualifying round, and in the spring of his second year, the team was eliminated in the second round of the prefectural tournament. He became the team captain in the fall of his second year, but did not pitch in the team's own tournament in the summer of his third year, and the team was eliminated in the first round. His best result was the third round of the prefectural tournament.
Grades at Tokai University
He went on to Tokai University Shizuoka Campus, which is a member of the Tokai Regional League. He became a starting pitcher in the fall league games of his third year, and mainly played as the second pitcher, with a record of 5 wins, 2 losses, and an ERA of 1.25. He pitched in 10 games (6 of which he started) out of 14 games in the entire league, pitching a total of 50.1 innings and striking out 68 batters, far more than the number of innings he pitched. In the first round against Shizuoka University of Science and Technology, he achieved a perfect game, albeit a 7-inning game, and in the second round against Shizuoka University, he struck out 16 batters (7 innings). After the tournament, he participated in the Samurai Japan University National Team Candidate Training Camp in December, and played as the second pitcher for the C team in the third game of the Red vs. White game. From the spring of his fourth year, he became the ace pitcher of Tokai University Shizuoka, and the number of games he started and pitched complete games increased. In the game against Nihon University International, he pitched a complete game with 11 strikeouts. Over five seasons at university, he pitched a total of 145.1 innings in 36 games (14 starts), with a record of 13 wins (6 complete games, 3 shutouts), 4 losses, 208 strikeouts, and an ERA of 1.55.
