There were quite a few athletes appearing, did not they?

That's right. I was also looking forward to shooting, but I was sorry for only one thing, I could not see the athletes who appeared. I went shooting after the practice was over, but after everyone was back. But I took it very nicely and I think I got a good experience.


Miyawaki is now a college student, but what kind of refreshing time do you do other times than competition?

Basically, since it is practice for two minutes in the morning and afternoon on weekdays, I do not have much time, but I try to refresh the day off. Roughly, making fun of cakes, theater, solving puzzles. It is one of these three (laugh).


Please tell me a bit more. 。

I'm thinking of making funny things about twice a month, and I go to study or make them at home. Also, I love watching the stage. I'll watch musicals, and I'm planning to go see readings next time. I like mystery novels and read them a lot, and now I have a real mystery-solving game called Escape Game, and I also participate in it.
 
 
 
 Normally, I usually are an ordinary university student (laugh). Do not you talk about family and fencing?

I agree. I do not like talking about fencing with my family too much. Especially because my father is involved in fencing, when I am with my family there is something I want to enjoy as a private time.

Role in Japan national team

Then, I will return to the story of fencing a bit. While the coach before practicing was playing a role like an interpreter when you were talking, are you also conscious of the role you did?

Sometimes, when I need an interpreter, I have an interpreter. Currently Japan representative, coaches are also foreigners, young children are many and the level of English is various. Basically, I think that the person whom the coach talked directly is transmitted, and players think that that person is better, I think whether I should be able to help only when necessary.

Is there anything you are aware of in the group battle?

Of course, there is something to be aware of. It is also last year that the current coach arrived, and members also have no experience of Olympic participation except Nishioka Shioro, and since the team is a very young team, I think that building a team is key. As there are some players who are good at attacks by Yoshiyoshi Yoshihara, I must contribute in particular in defense. As I score a lot of points, I will respond to the results of the team, so I think that my role in the team is how much I can keep going down without entering defense.







Fencing is a sport that moves intensely in the back and forth, I was fascinated by light footwork, but is there anything particular about the tool?

One part is the part which the sword grips, but I ask you to make a company called Daiwa M · Ti. The tools of fencing are mostly made overseas, but I have small hands, so the thickness and length did not match. So we asked Daiwa M. T. to have them in my hands and got colored in gold so that I can understand it as my sword in a moment. The other one is shoes. I am wearing Nike shoes, but the width of the foot is very narrow. Nike is smart and it fits tightly to my feet.
