――First of all, could you tell us how you started playing soccer?

MiyamotoIt was the start of the 1986 Mexico World Cup which was Captain Tsubasa or Maradona was a big success. Maradona was a superstar for me. It is a strange story, but there was a project called "Please write a word to Maradona and apply for it" in the magazine "Football Digest" at the time. I wanted a gift, so I wrote it and sent it (laugh).

As a prize winner, the name was also listed in the magazine, but after that, no gift will be sent no matter how long we wait (laugh). This story has been told to the football digest many times since becoming an adult. By the way, the prize was a sports bag ... (lol)

――At that time, was Mr. Miyamoto a player who dribbled and scored goals like Maradona and Tsubasa Oozora?

MiyamotoYes. I was such a player until the middle of elementary school and junior high school. After that, the position gradually went down to the back ... (laughs)

- What kind of spikes were you wearing when you started soccer?

MiyamotoFirst time I wore a spike was when I was in elementary school fifth grade. Um, I'm not an adidas (contracted since the beginning of professionals) but (laugh). At that time I was longing for Maradona, so I was wearing the same brand spike as Maradona.

I remember that it was the starting point, I was happy to buy spikes, and I was happy to wear them and kick the ball.

――What kind of commitment did you have to Spike since you became a professional?

MiyamotoIn order to make the original mold, I took a foot type. While I was wearing Adidas 'Predator Series' in the active era, I was feeling a sense of stability in talking with people who developed spikes, or if the leather was too soft, I felt my feet falling from the sole .

In my case, the spikes also need a certain amount of weight, and even when kicking a long ball, if the spikes have more weight, the ball will fly as a pendulum. I was particular about that.

――What were you doing with socks and insoles?

MiyamotoSome of the athletes wear "five fingers socks", but they did not care so much. I first had a commitment in the place where the type and quality of kicks changed depending on how the fingers moved while leather wearing a little quick spikes.

――How did you tie the string and how strong was it?

MiyamotoThe knot was tight, but the fingertips were weak and playful. As I said earlier, the toes move in the spikes, so if it's too tight, it's hard to kick. It's a delicate place, but it's a feeling.

- Do you scrape the spike points?

MiyamotoWell, I did not do that. The spike that I am wearing now (the Adidas · Ace series) is a round point, but when the spikes of the tooth type increased, it was a very good feeling. Personally, rather than a round shape, the tooth type is better.

For fixed ones, the points were a bit high and I liked the turf chewing things. Because I was DF, there were times when I was wearing a replacement spike even when it was sunny, and I tried it a lot.

- Did you use spikes differently depending on the pitch condition?

MiyamotoI like spikes with longer points, so I think that there were more replacement types than fixed type. When I was playing in Austria (belonging to 2 seasons and half), there were clay-like places in Europe, so I used to wear a longer replacement ceremony.

As an overseas player, I heard from an Adidas person that Zidane wears commercially available items, and although it is not "Kobo does not choose a brush", I think that any good person is okay (laugh)

――Which foot did you stick to, such as wearing spikes?

MiyamotoI wore it from my left foot. It may be one of the routines in terms of personal preference, or in terms of improving mentality and condition.

――Even now becoming a leader, are you committed to spikes?

MiyamotoAlthough not as much as when it is active, I wear a spike rather than a Tressie. Since there are also sometimes kicking the ball with the players, the spike is better able to kick the live ball than Tress Shu. (Spike brought during the interview) is black because it uses it with artificial turf, but I am wearing the newest model

- What model are you wearing on the main?

I basically wear the Adidas Ace series. There are four series (Ace, Copa, X, Messi) in recent adidas, and I feel the evolution and development.

- Do you advise young athletes who are teaching about spikes?

Thumb 66666
MiyamotoThat is not at all, right? (Laugh). Of course, depending on the lawn, it is better to wear such a spike, but it is also part depending on the feeling of the athlete. Players are being offered spikes from Official Gamba Osaka suppliers, so I think they are happy (lol)
