A dream that DMM draws on European football "vol.4 What is a Japanese player able to play active roles in Belgium"
In November of last year DMM acquired the management rights of Shintotroiden of Belgian first division league. Why did you buy a Belgian team? I asked Mr. Yusuke Muranaka, who is the chairman of SYNTOTROIDEN, who is the director of DMM.com. In Vol.4, what kind of play style Japanese players can play in Belgian League? I asked.

――After all, the degree of attention to soccer is high! !! After that, it would be nice if the training could be done well. There are good players in Belgium such as Hazard and Lukaku.
In the villageThere are many tall and big players. Physically, I think it's good to play soccer. I think it is difficult for Japanese people to get results in terms of forward points, but I think that Japanese people can play an active role in any other position.
――It's a personal image, but Belgium is rather strong, but I feel that there aren't many players in the flash system.
In the villageYou have physical strength! Certainly there are few technique systems. It's hard for Belgians to get the pass that leads to that final goal for Ryota Morioka. That would be a weapon here, wouldn't it?
Yuya Kubo at Gent is going to come in from the back rather than the forward that I have in front of before. There are not too many types. I think that players like the second top can do a good job.
The players who were on our team until last year and transferred to Anderlecht played a similar role. Although he is short, he is a player who gets in front of the goal a little bit and decides the score.
――Unlike Japan, you put the pass forward toward the goal. I think it's unique to Europe.
In the villageCertainly the pass will come forward. It's an issue for our team, but if you protect it and decide on a counter, you'll get stuck, but if you have the ball, you may miss it to a lower team. On the contrary, go to the counter.
Variations in tactics and how to take risks are difficult. The upper team also misses the lower team. Bruges, who hasn't missed anything at all, will be number one in the regular season. It was very stable.
In that sense, I was wondering if the forces are competing with each other, but the difference between the top and the bottom is still the current situation. However, the top 5 changes every year, so it's interesting in a league where there is a chance at all.
――The number of Japanese people is gradually increasing, such as Yuta Toyokawa of Eupen who did a hat trick the other day.
In the villageI agree. There are now four people.
――I think language is important to play an active role, but how about the language?
In the villageEiji Kawashima and Makoto Hasebe, who have been active overseas for a long time, can speak. You're completely familiar with the team, aren't you? One of our businesses is DMM English conversation, and overseas we change the brand and do it under the name Ing. We also have Brazil, South Korea, Taiwan and Europe, and our teachers are scattered all over the world.
Tomiyasu is also doing it. The agent is in Japan, and our staff is not in charge of sports, so I think it's an away environment because we don't support unless the person himself tells us.
Our staff also has a rule to speak in English as much as possible without speaking in Japanese. He also said that it was okay, and he has high aspirations, so I'm looking forward to it.
――What is Tomiyasu doing about meals?
In the villageMeals come from the team, so you eat them. I can't treat it specially, so I usually eat there. When I don't have meals in the dormitory, I cook for myself.
――How many rooms are there in the dormitory?
In the villageThere is one room for each person. It's an apartment, or a hotel. I went there too, but it was comfortable without any problems.
――When I was playing in South America, there were some players who usually drank alcohol, and it was a mess, but what about Belgian players?
In the villageEven in the dormitory, there aren't many people who drink at night. I have never seen it. I think it's pretty stoic and serious. We also stay in the dormitory, but if anything, we are drinking (laughs)
――In South America, there were many players who were active in their own country and aimed at Mexico, but where are the Belgians active in the Belgian League and aiming for?
In the villageI think any league above Belgium is fine. I have great respect for the Bundesliga. Also, the Premier League, La Liga, etc. are like that.
