Dream that DMM draws on European football "vol.2 with Shintotroiden City!"

In November of last year DMM acquired the management rights of Shintotroiden of Belgian first division league. Why did you buy a Belgian team? I asked Mr. Yusuke Muranaka, who is the chairman of SYNTOTROIDEN, who is the director of DMM.com. In Vol.2, I heard stories about the sponsors of the current organization and team.

――To talk about Japanese players, you decided to sign Takehiro Tomiyasu after watching the U20 Japan National Team match. Is it because you can still fight?

villageI agree. The impression of the final match in the final at J1 promotion playoff with Nagoya Grampus is also strong.

Before the game, the agent said that "It is better to see the place where you can hit the can win because it is thought that various people are watching overseas," it seems that they were blasting. It was fairly intense.

But in Belgium, it's better to be that intense. I'm cured now, but I was injured, so I want you to return carefully so that it doesn't happen again.

――First of all, you acquired a portion of the club's stock, built a relationship of trust, and proceeded while looking at the balance. What is your current organizational structure?

villageNow the organization has changed, the former owner has disappeared. Also, Mr. Tateishi was replaced by a CEO (person in charge of the actual site).

Along with that, it seems that the organization and roles are being reviewed. I was also looking for a technical director, but I was finally able to sign a contract with a Belgian technical director.

――What is the role of a technical director?

villageFirst of all, I think we have to strengthen the academies of the top team, second team, and youth team. I play a role that can see how one team is going.

- What is the organization of training such as youth?

In the villageYouths and lower organizations are NPOs and they are different organizations. As the director of the current synthroiden has a person who was representative of the NPO, we will first make a relation there.

You have to decide what kind of philosophy you want the club to take, and everyone has to face it in the same direction.

――Why was training divided into separate organizations until now?

villageI think there were various reasons. Up until now, the team had been taking free players from outside, sending them to matches, and then leaving again. I don't think the main focus was on recruiting players from the lower ranks.

Of course, there are players who grew up from the lower organization, but I think it was a policy issue. In the future, I would like to hire good players from the lower organization and develop them.

――Is it necessary to change the supervisors of the youth and other lower organizations first?

In the villageYouth is not so weak, but strong. I think I'll change the way I do it. Because there are times when a good player that I raised has left.

If a good player is called by a strong team, he will leave. how do i do that? It's the same for any team, but for example, if Anderlecht, the strongest player in Belgium, were approached by Spain, they would be pulled over.

So you have to think about how you want the club to want to remain. Is it "an environment you want to remain" or "a leader you want to remain"? Good players will not remain unless they like towns, have a longing for the team, and so on in a variety of ways in a comprehensive way.

Thumb 3

In that sense, I think the J-League is doing well. It is rare for the youth generation to go to another team, and basically, there are many patterns that go to the top team that grew up with youth.

I want to find out why Japan can do it and why we can't. Since I'm a child, it should be better if I stay in my hometown because I have the support of my parents.

――It would be exciting if you consistently nurture local players and raise them to the top team with close ties to the community, and if they become local heroes.

In the villageNow the left back is a local player who rose from youth. However, there is only one player like that at the moment, so I hope to increase it more and more in the future.

If that happens, they will be supported, and that kind of atmosphere is necessary. I think there is a balance, so I can't do all of them, but I think it's not strange to have 3 or 4 people.

――I think there are a lot of sponsors and advertisements from local companies at the moment, but do you have any plans to use Japanese companies as sponsors in the future?

In the villageI've been managing the team since the middle of this season, so I'm negotiating with various companies for contracts from next season. We are working on the Japanese side and dealing with Japanese companies.

――Please tell us about the benefits of hiring a Japanese company and what kind of companies you are targeting.

In the villageOriginally, we are dealing with where the company is located in Belgium. I have joined Japanese associations and have had the opportunity to interact with them.

Japan is negotiating in Japan, of course, to benefit. There are various patterns such as advertising in Belgium, holding a football classroom in Japan, and so on.

I take care of what the other person is asking, but since I have not done so far, I will consult it according to the situation.

The city of Sint-Truiden is also very cooperative. I would like to make use of such places. It's not an experiment using the city, but if you want to do this or that, I think it's easy to do it in a small town because it's compact.
