"ADIDAS 4D" was developed using Digital Light Synthesis technology based on analysis of athlete data that Adidas has accumulated over 17 years. It has an innovative midsole with a different dimension structure made of light and oxygen.

This digital light synthesis enables a manufacturing process that can be called next-generation 3D printing, allowing the midsole to be digitally designed down to the micrometer level.

In addition, the intricate grid structure of "ADIDAS 4D" has a fine grid that exerts spring-like propulsive force, and a widening grid that disperses the impact of landing. The taut, high grid keeps the foot in the center of the shoe and supports precise lateral movement.

This allows for precisely controlled repulsion even during intense training or workouts.

On the design front, adidas' designers, sports scientists and engineers now have a wide range of creative possibilities, as they are now able to create complex and intricate designs that were previously impossible with traditional manufacturing processes.

Additionally, it is now possible to produce a single midsole that precisely reflects the desired level of movement, cushioning, stability, and comfort. In the long run, it has become possible to tailor each shoe to perform according to each athlete's physiological data and needs.

The upper of the ``ALPHAEDGE 4D'' is made of primeknit using lightweight FORGEFIBER.

The upper is coated with TPU and each thread is woven down to the millimeter level, wrapping the foot like a seamless sock, and by varying the angle and density of the threads, it provides support for any movement. It gives you a good fit.

The outsole uses highly durable Continental rubber, which provides stable friction regardless of road conditions or weather, making it possible to handle sudden turns and acceleration.

At the new product launch event, Rakuten's ace professional baseball player Kodai Norimoto and Rio de Janeiro Olympic bronze medalist canoe slalom athlete Takuya Haneda appeared as guests.
