In August, Mizuno conducted a wear test of its new material ``Dry Aeroflow'' at a location in Tokyo. The participating athletes are top players from the Japan national hockey team, for which Mizuno is an official supplier.
Next year's world championship games to be held in Tokyo will be held in midsummer. The key to victory will be whether the athletes can perform at a high level without sacrificing their physical strength in Japan's unique heat.
Although the players repeated intense movements similar to actual combat, they did not show any signs of fatigue.
As the players say, ``When it's a daytime game, the temperature and humidity are very high. Being able to play in these (comfortable) fabrics is one of our strengths.''
