Leather shoe makers Madras and Mizuno will sell their first collaborative business shoes and walking shoes for the business scene at Madras directly managed stores and Mizuno walking dealers nationwide from March 11, 2019.

The shoes we collaborated with this time are a fusion of genuine men's shoes and the technology cultivated in the sports scene.
In addition to the sophisticated form and design, Madras's carefully selected leather is used for the upper part, pursuing a luxurious texture unique to men's shoes that are particular about the finish. Mizuno's original technology "Mizuno Wave", which has both cushioning and stability, is used for the sole to make it easier to walk. We propose shoes that combine manufacturing know-how cultivated in each of the business and sports scenes for nearly 100 years.
With the announcement of the "FUN + WALK PROJECT" recommended for walking in October 2017 by the Japan Sports Agency, a lifestyle that incorporates exercise into daily life is drawing attention against the backdrop of growing health consciousness.
This time, by developing shoes that have a sophisticated design and functionality that enables comfortable walking, we aim to increase walking opportunities in the business scene, establish walking habits, and improve health.

"Mizuno Arch Support Insole" is used for the insole to support the three arches on the sole of the foot, distribute the burden on the foot, absorb the impact of landing, and promote smooth walking. The sole is equipped with "Mizuno Wave" that has both cushioning and stability, and the heel part that wears heavily is equipped with "X10" that has excellent wear resistance. In addition, the business shoe type is equipped with "Mizuno Intercool" that discharges moisture from the vent of the sole to suppress the rise in humidity and temperature inside the shoe.
