Olympic gold medalist gymnastics "Kotopei Kato" and Sonar Pocket "eyeron" talk !! vol. 4 "Sports and music also enjoy feeling forward"
Sonar Pocket "eyeron" is constantly pushing to go beyond his limits. The gymnast who won the best in the world, “Kotopei Kato,” continues to embrace the spirit of challenge to defeat the current situation. What kind of thing is "tension" that always comes to two people?

eyeron: Even though it is the number one in the world?
Kato: The group was good, but I wasn't convinced because I didn't act as an individual.
5I was selected as the representative for the year in a row, but since I fell last year, I was able to solve what I had been tense about, and my feelings have changed a little.
eyeron: In the old days, I had to keep appearing on a special TV program, but now I'm wondering, "What on earth am I continuing to be a musician?" I write music as "enjoy the sound", but there were times when I couldn't enjoy it. I think everyone will feel it as they build their careers. Hundreds of artists make their major debuts each year. It's been 10 years since I formed Sonar Pocket, but there are very few artists who have been active for 10 years.
Every human being has good times and bad times, so I think that the desire to look forward and have fun, rather than using all of them as food, will lead to the greatest success. I think it's wonderful for me now because I have the music and the image that I can understand because I have the experience of overcoming it.
I think Ryohei will be able to show his true appearance from now on as his shoulders are unloaded. I think it's time to try it.
Kato: That's right.
I can't wait to hear the story for Tokyo for the next two years, and I feel that it will appear in the best possible way.You can eat 5 or 6 cups of white rice just by listening to Ryohei-kun (laughs).
As we move on to the next stage, I think we're still not strong enough, and it's different from what we usually do with Ryohei, but I think it makes a lot of sense to talk about it here. Yeah.
Kato: For me, the game is tense and focused. Of course, there are many people at performances and exhibitions, but it makes me feel happy and excited, which makes me feel positive. Of course, if you can decide the technique well and hear the cheers, you will feel good and happy.
eyeronDo you get nervous, have fun, or have a hard time live? For example, I get nervous when I appear on TV, but not on a small stage.
eyeron: If you live in a fan club tour or a small venue, you may be more nervous because you can see your face more at a short distance. Rather than being nervous, it makes me want to try it at an arena or an omnibus festival where tens of thousands of people gather.

eyeron: As I continue to gain career and experience, there will be good times and bad times. In the future, will we make adjustments different from those at the Rio Olympics? I would like to hear if Ryohei-kun has changed from Rio.
Kato:I wonder what.
eyeron: Anything is fine. For example, I started eating this for breakfast, or something changed.
Kato: Up to London, it was just momentum. Then I experienced a setback and an experience that was different from the momentum. And in Rio, I won the gold medal in spite of success and failure, but I thought I still had something left to do.

Until then, I had to be a representative, so I had to practice and play with patience, saying that I shouldn't miss it. Being absent from the national team made me feel a little easier mentally, and I was able to switch my negative feelings to positive.
2020In Tokyo of the year, I can still move in terms of age and physical strength, I think I have accumulated experience, and of course I would like to win a gold medal if I can be a representative. I hope I can be a person who can pull me so that I won't lose to young people.
eyeron: It's really nice !! That's what I wanted to hear the most. It's good to be released from the pressure once.
Kato: It's easier.

--Experience that you have overcome by asking yourself
eyeron: In the old days, I had to keep appearing on a special TV program, but now I'm wondering, "What on earth am I continuing to be a musician?" Kato: That's right.
eyeron: From now on, I think you can feel attractive as a human being and as a player, and it will be very important to be a person. Fresh players can move forward with momentum. With the artists, as you build your career, you'll be great as a human being, and you'll feel like you're here now. So I think the time is ripe.
I can't wait to hear the story for Tokyo for the next two years, and I feel that it will appear in the best possible way.You can eat 5 or 6 cups of white rice just by listening to Ryohei-kun (laughs).

I think it's often the end of a live performance that makes me really happy. When we're playing live, we think we have to attract the audience, so we don't have time to think about ourselves. I think it's a live performance that keeps each moment together to see if you can be satisfied. I think it was fun when I went behind the stage after it was over. Even if I make a mistake during the live, I think it was fun. But I think it takes a process to enjoy it.

【Sonar Pocket】
A 3-piece unit by ko-dai (Vo.), Eyeron (Vo.), And matty (DJ) from Nagoya. Life-sized and realistic love songs boast tremendous support, especially among young people. On March 28, the single "108-Eien-", which was transcribed as the theme song of the movie "honey", was released. In September 2018, we will celebrate the 10th anniversary of our major debut and hold a national tour "Sonar Pocket 10th Anniversary Tour flower" that will mark the 10th anniversary from autumn.
【Eyeron.Vo】
His words grasping the hearts of many listeners with a straight lyric and a hot singing voice filled with souls strangely naturally and mindfully come to mind.
In the Osaka marathon held last November, we have completed the full marathon with an amazing time of 2 hours 43 minutes, which is the fastest record of the artists.
