2017年のプロ野球界で、最も活躍した選手との呼び声高い福岡ソフトバンクホークス所属のピッチャー『千賀滉大』選手。侍ジャパン日本代表として3月のワールド・ベースボール・クラシック(WBC)に出場し、ベストナインを受賞。今シーズンは自己最多の13勝を挙げてチームの日本一に大きく貢献し、パ・リーグ勝率第1位投手賞も獲得した。世界トップレベルにある千賀選手は、ファッションについてどのように考えているのか。単独インタビューに応じていただいた。

小学2年生の時から野球を始め、高校時代までを地元の愛知県で過ごし、福岡ソフトバンクホークスのスカウトの目にとまり、2010年に育成ドラフト枠でホークスへ入団。

- For Senga players, what is the position of fashion?
Senga: Every day a player wears a uniform from his house although he went to the dome. Every time, I always ask to make a comfortable appearance every time, but there are also times when the fans are also watching a little, so after all I am conscious as it is.
Normally, there will be many basic suits, but since we often wear uniforms, we think that it is important and I am seeking both quantity and quality.
- Do you have any fighting colors for fashion?
Senga: There is no particular game color, so it will be black, gray, white like calm colors like you are wearing now.
- What kind of shoes do you usually wear?
Senga: If you have neat shoes on, there are also sneakers. Once I wear sneakers I will run comfortably, but when I go out with my family, I am wearing firm shoes.
- How about baseball shoes?
Senga: I am worried about my feet and I think that it is the most important thing, so there are fights for bats, but the pitchers are considering gloves and feet considerably and use it.
- Finally, could you tell us about your aspirations next year?
Senga：そうですね。やっぱり本当に1年間怪我をせずに今年以上の成績を残して、また日本一になれる1人となれればなと思います。 (了)
