What kind of activity did you do in the field?
While scooping and using a loading platform, we scooped out mud in the house and carried out furniture.
I thought that it might be able to cheer the local children, perhaps, and I brought the ball, but I could not kick the ball with the kids, owing to being sudden. But, I was a member of the volunteer team together and kicked a little ball at break.
Have you felt anything as a futsal player who walks with the region?
僕がフットサル選手だからといって現地で声をかけられるようなことはありませんでした。もちろん、僕が現地に行ったところで、それが大きく取り上げられて、社会全体を動かしていくような力はないのが現状ですね。
I hope the futsal players will be recognized more socially and have influence.
I agree. I think that it is absolutely necessary to raise our own value. That is why we, futsal players, should go out and work in various places.
フットサルだけではないですが、マイナースポーツに従事するアスリートがもつ社会的な意義は、自分たちの努力次第でまだまだ向上させていけると思っています。
