Interview The third is about spikes. Nakayama Masafumi I admired players, middle school days I bought a Nakayama model. Episodes with Ryoichi Maeda who met in Jubilo also jumped out ....

――では、スパイクについて聞かせてください。子どもの頃、初めて履いたスパイクは何か覚えていますか？
Yamada：はっきり覚えてはいないのですが、黒革のモデルが主流のなか、黄色などの目立つ色のスパイクを履いていました。ちなみに、中学時代からずっとプーマなんですよ。
――静岡はプーマが多いですよね。
Yamada：Puma is taking root. Among various models, I like Parameco the most. I am coming at the moment I wear it. Remaining in memory, the spike that I wore for the first time is Parameco.
――それはいつ頃ですか？
Yamada：中学一年生の時に中山さん（中山雅史）モデルを買ったのを覚えています。
- You like Mr. Nakayama's thing?
Yamada：That's right! I remember buying a light blue and navy model Nakayama.
――山田さんとプレースタイルは全然違いますが、中山さんのどこに惹かれたのでしょうか？
Yamada：学生の頃にスタジアムへ試合を観に行ったのですが、中山さんが途中から出て来た時に、負けていたスタジアムの雰囲気がガラッと変わったんです。こんなにまで、一人の選手が一瞬にしてスタジアムの雰囲気を変えられるのはすごいなと思いました。
――2002年のワールドカップ・ロシア戦で、途中から中山さんが出て来た時のことを良く覚えています。横浜国際競技場が揺れました。何かやってくれるんじゃないかという期待をもたせてくれる選手ですよね。
Yamada：It is transmitted even when the supporters' exciting feelings are on the pitch when the expected players, loved ones, players who are going to do something have balls.
僕もジュビロにいた時は、サポーターのみなさんにそう思って欲しいと思いながら、プレーしていました。自分がボールを持った時に、サポーターの方々が「チャンスになるぞ！」という雰囲気になって、ワクワクしてくれるのはすごく嬉しい瞬間です。
――サポーターの気持ちは選手に伝播するんですね。中山さんとジュビロでプレーしたことはありますか？
Yamada：When I joined Jubilo 's practice at the third year of university, it was about 3 or 4 days together. After that, when I joined, Nakayama was mistaken because I was playing in Sapporo.
――実際に数日、練習を一緒にしてみてどうでしたか？
Yamada：一緒のピッチに立てたことが、純粋に嬉しかったです。誰よりも一生懸命、練習に取り組まれてましたし、僕が出したパスがずれていたときも「ナイスボール！」と、受け手の中山さんが「取れない俺が悪い」みたいなことを言ってくれたのを覚えています。
――練習生にも気を配って、ポジティブな言葉をかけてくれたのですね。
Yamada：I agree. I felt that it was a respected and loved being up to that place, including aspects that require attention to the surroundings. Ryoichi Maeda who I was influenced most in Jubilo also thinks that there is a part that had been influenced by Ms. Nakayama.
Mr. Maeda was an active Japanese delegate, Jubilo's absolute ace when I joined. Although it is not a lot of words, I was asked to learn various things including attitude to work football seriously than anyone earnestly, practice all the time than anyone from practice, including humanity.
――スパイクの話に戻りますが、中山モデルのパラメヒコを履いていたと。
Yamada：I always liked Paramecco and I also wore Mexican light.
――プーマから他のスパイクへ浮気をしたことは？
Yamada：I have not seen it since junior high school. When I was in high school, I used to replace the spikes of Adidas and Nike wearing my teammate, but the Puma I'm accustomed to was the best. The only thing when the Universiade representative was to wear spikes of Adidas in the official game all members, I told those in charge of Puma.
――ユニバーシアードの時は、アディダスのなんというモデルを履いたのですか？
Yamada：アディピュアでした。プレデターも試しましたが、アディピュアがしっくりきたんです。その時以外は、プーマ一筋です。
- Did you change the point of spike when you came to Germany?
Yamada：The basis is a mix sole. In Germany, there are times when the lawn of the practice field is guttygucha, so studs sometimes wear six items. When the stadium in Karlsruhe gets rained, even if I step in a bit, the turf will be displaced and a mountain will be created.
Then, if the point is stepped with a fixed type spike, it will be taken away by the foot. Nonetheless, any spike can not be as steady as when playing in Japan pitch. That's why I feel that not only spikes but also physical strength should be upgraded.
――スパイク選びで大事にしていることは？
Yamada：ボールタッチにこだわりたいので、人工皮革のシリーズでも天然皮革にしてもらっています。雨の時、人工皮革だとボールタッチが滑るような気がするんですよ。
- How often do you change spikes?
Yamada：I want to get familiar with the feet, so long wearing type. I separate the game and practice, and I use about 10 games for the match spike. Some players change only in the first half of the game, so I think that it is a long wearing person. However, the practice spike does not care about the cycle much.
――今はプーマのどのスパイクを履いているのですか？
Yamada：It is Evo Power. I also like Dermundo, Evo Power is a trend of Dermund. I like to wear it.
