Ins: When I was in elementary school, I wore kicker spikes. Because the practice ground of the soccer club was dirt, and the match venue was artificial turf. I felt like wearing spikes on a dirt field would wear out my points, so I wore cheap kicker spikes in practice and used Nikes in matches.
Kato: Have the requirements for spikes changed between when you were a kid and now as a professional?
Ins: When I was in elementary school, I wanted to become popular by wearing high-end spikes that other kids didn't wear. is now selected.
Kato：The fact that you wore expensive spikes when you were in elementary school means that your family was rich?
Ins: No, not at all (laughs). I begged my parents to buy it for me even though they complained about it. Besides, I was the type to take care of one pair of spikes rather than buying new ones over and over again.
Kato: Have you ever worn spikes made by a Japanese manufacturer?
Ins:yes. I have worn Mizuno's Morelia in high school and college. At first, I liked how they fit my feet, but as I wore them, I realized that lighter spikes would be better for me.
Kato: Are there any brands you have never worn before? Puma's name is not mentioned.
Ins: I've also worn Puma. I don't have Asics, but I do have Under Armor. When I was in high school, my uniform was Under Armor, so all the players had the opportunity to try them on. At that time, Under Armor spikes had just been released, and they didn't fit my feet, but the wear was great.
Kato: If you were to become a superstar in the future and ask for Yoo Insu model boots, what would you request?
Ins: The most important thing is light spikes. I want to pursue there. Also, natural leather is better than artificial leather. However, although "MESSI 15.1" wearing now is artificial leather (laugh).
Kato: Why is natural leather better?
Ins: Artificial leather feels like the ball is slipping on rainy days. With natural leather, I feel like the ball will stick to it even on rainy days.
Kato: For Adidas, there are Copa Mundial, a masterpiece worn by Ryoichi Maeda, and the popular Patique Brolo. Are you interested in those spikes?
Ins: Copa Mundial has a slightly heavy impression. As a result, we have chosen a light spike like "MESSI 15.1" to take advantage of our speed and agility right now. Also, artificial leather seems easy to convey power when you shoot.
