Surprise visit to Kyoto Tachibana High School VOL.4 “Kazuya Kanazawa, the key to defense, talks about NIKE Mercurial! ”
The first memorable event is Kyoto Tachibana, the prestigious Kyoto. He has produced many J-League players such as Keiya Sento, Tomoya Koyamatsu, Katsuya Nakano (Kyoto Sanga), Yuto Iwasaki (Consadole Sapporo) and Shuto Kawai (FC Ryukyu). He is known as one of the most powerful players in Japan, having won second place in the 2012 National High School Soccer Championship. Other club activities are also active, especially the brass band club is the top class in the whole country, showing overwhelming playing power and expressive power in the support of the soccer club, and the technique has been highly evaluated overseas.

３バックの真ん中、４バックのCBとして2年生ながら守備の要となる。高さを生かした空中戦はもちろん、彼の最大の魅力は正確なフィードで、しかも両足から繰り出すことが出来る。
ディフェンスを意識しながらも、常にピッチ全体を見渡してカウンターチャンスを作り出せる場所を探し、ボールを奪ったり、マイボールになった瞬間にそのポイントに正確なボールをつける準備に入る。
両足が蹴れるため、状況に応じてファーストタッチの位置、トラップの足を決めて、そこから長短のパスを対角、縦と多彩なボールで供給する。大胆に裏に落とすロングフィードも得意で、バックスピンをかけてFWが受けやすいボールを供給する。まさに将来性十分のCBだ。
