The latest work of the ASICS Menace series "Menace 3" has been released in June 2016.
Menace is a model developed for athletes with momentary acceleration power and speed as weapons. Lineup of natural leather model using kangaroo leather, hybrid synthetic leather (artificial leather) model with flexibility and holdability at the same time, and takedown model of artificial leather. Color development is two colors, spice orange × white, pearl white × black.
Menace series top model is "Menace 3 LE" which adopted kangaroo leather for upper material. Kangaroo leather in the forefoot part, artificial leather part for the hind leg part, suede material for the lining around the ankle, feet familiarity and ball touch feeling, hold capability.
The biggest feature is the HG 10 mm structure of the heel and accelerating performance with the regulation created by the low elastic nylon of the outsole front leg. By designing the heel part 10 mm higher, it makes it easier to keep the forward leaning posture and at the same time reduces the burden on the legs.
The outsole which was improved from the previous work improved the sense of stability by adjusting the length and arrangement of the studs. Made of high-hardness nylon material as a supporting part in the middle part of the outsole, suppress deformation at the time of kick, and support strong ball impact. Corresponding earth for solid soil, natural turf, artificial turf.
Hybrid synthetic synthetic leather (artificial leather) model combining flexibility and holdability also has the same basic performance as the leather model. By the feeling of hold peculiar to artificial leather, energy loss is reduced by suppression of shake in the shoe, and high speed play is supported. Artificial leather is adopted as the lining material. Rubber print processing and laser carving processing are applied to the surface of the upper forefoot portion to enhance ball controllability, pursuing a barefoot sense of ball touch.
