このシューズについて、元大学駅伝三冠王で、現在は東京オリンピック出場を目指している八木勇樹選手は、「クッション性やホールド感がしっかりあり、どの路面でも走りやすいです！」とコメント。
実際に筆者もこのSTRELLAを履いて走ってみたが、なるほど、足全体を包み込むようにフィットしてくれるし、クッション性が高いので、足全体への負担が軽く感じる。特に筆者の場合、翌日に膝やアキレス腱に痛みが出ることが多く、仕事に影響がでることを心配してなかなか気軽に走ることができなかったのだが、そのような人にとっても、心強い味方になってくれそうだ。
