- History of Mizuno's volleyball shoes
door: Mizuno's volleyball shoes, the All Japan Women's Volleyball TeamWe are building history together. This time I brought the things that female players actually wear as samples. In the volleyball world, I wanted to make a major change in the market, and I thought whether not only the thing but also the story that echoed to the user could be provided is the story of "Fire Bird NIPPON" which is the nickname of the All Japan Women's Volleyball Team.
This is a story about the "fire" of the fire bird, in 2013 we released the red shoes and painted as getting hot from the red gradually, in 2015 I made it orange. In 2016, I wrote a series of blue worn by players at the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games and the color change as the flame gets warmer.
ウエーブ ライトニングZ3 「ウエーブ ライトニング」シリーズは、「ウエーブ ライトニング10」から「ウエーブ ライトニングZ」、「ウエーブ ライトニングZ3」へとソールも含めてアップデートをしました。
last year開催されたワールドグランドチャンピオンズカップ2017で新生全日本女子バレーボールチームの選手達が履いた「ウエーブ ライトニングZ3」は、黒アッパーにカラーを入れています。今までのシューズに関しては、全選手に同じカラーのものを履いていただきましたが、2017年からは着用するモデルや選手によってカラーを変えています。「新生」全日本ということで新たな幕開けを表現したく黒のアッパーとし、新たなメンバーの個性をカラーで表現し皆の力が交じり合うことでより高みを目指せるようにマーブルのミッドソールを採用しました。

軽量性、クッション性とフィッティングに優れたランニングシューズを履いてプレーするバレーボール選手が多く、我々はそのことに対して疑問を持ちバレーボール専用シューズで表現しようという所から始めました。コンセプトを継承したまま進化し続け、「ウエーブ ライトニングZ3」で13代目になります。
- Evolving function

From that point further thinking that it can move more quickly or not, sole has evolved from Z to Z 3 so that you can grasp the coat so much by rolling up the rubber on the thumb side of the toe.
- About the sole heel part
door: As a result of seeking lightness and cushioning properties in the "Wave Lightning" series, we have made a separate structure in which the forefoot part and the rear foot part are separated as described above. Moreover, we stretch Mizuno wave to the middle foot part so that we can make necessary rigidity and resilience for shoes.
- About other functions
door: Regarding the upper, there are many stitches (sewing) with regular volleyball shoes, but since "Wave Lightning 10" we are designing as seamless as possible in order to get lighter. As for the durability and fitting, Z to Z 3 has also been updated.
