今年も残すところあと僅か。高校３年生にとっても、３年間を締めくくる時期に差し掛かって来た。残る大きな公式戦は第96回全国高校サッカー選手権大会となった。 今年の高校サッカーにおいて、J１・J２チームに入団が内定した選手は、現時点で21名。長崎総合科学大附属のFW安藤瑞季もプロ入り濃厚とされており、彼が決まれば、合計22名となる。 今回はこの中から10名をピックアップし、その選手のプレーの特徴とスパイクへのこだわりを聞いてみた。

185cmの高さを誇り、空中戦の強さと対人の強さを発揮するCB。１年時からレギュラーに抜擢されると、その高い身体能力を活かして、メキメキと頭角を現して行った。

Ikoma：年代別代表に選ばれたときに履かせてもらったのですが、凄く自分に合っているなと思ったので、ずっとこれを履いています。
ーーどの点が自分に合っていると思ったのですか？
Ikoma：フィット感ですね。僕は自分の足へのフィット感をスパイクに求めています。
ーーエースを履くまでは、何を履いていたのですか？
Ikoma: I was wearing various things. I was wearing Underrer 's freerly or Adidas' X.
フリーリーは靴底の足の型がしっかりと自分に合っていて、ズレにくかったのですが、それ以上にエースの足へのフィット感がよく感じたんです。足の甲が包まれると言うか、全体をカバーしてくれている感が凄く気に入っています。

Rui Ando (Nagasaki University of Science and Technology, attached → undecided, FW, ASICS X Fly II)

Ando：これは旧型で、もうⅢが出ているのですが、僕の中ではⅡがいいです。理由はⅢはかかとのソールが狭くなっていて、かつつま先がはがれやすいんです。でもⅡは強度が高くて、発売当初から履いているのもあって、ずっとこれにしています。
ーーずっとアシックスですか？
Ando：中学時代まではミズノのモレリアを履いていたのですが、高校に入ってからチームもアシックスなので、そうしました。Ⅲも少し改良するらしいので、それはかなり気になります（笑）。
ーースパイクを選ぶ上でかかとがポイント？
安藤：そうですね、僕は靴ズレをしやすいので、かかと部分が細いより、少し余裕があった方が良いんです。横もワイドなのが履きやすいです。
ーーかかとは堅い方がいい？それとも柔らかい方が良いですか？
Ando：外側が堅くて、内側が柔らかい方が良いですね。
ーーそれはやっぱりかかと重心だからですか？
Ando: I do not know there, I think that both toes and heels will be used. As for toes, I absolutely like natural leather better than artificial leather.
足に馴染ませたいタイプなので、ちょっときつめのピチピチな状態で履いて、そこから自分の足に馴染ませて行きたいんです。
ーー他にこだわりはありますか？
Ando: The round shape is a good point. People with more points do not burden my feet. In Nagasaki University of Science and Technology attached I have a lot of opportunities to sprint a long distance, so as much as possible, no burden on the feet, a lot in round points are right.
