【Event Report】 ALE 14 # 05 Iwasaki Taiki speaks, "Organization Theory of Tachikawa Corps"
ALE14#05 was held on May 29th (Monday) at Ebisu Act Square. This time's presenter is Daiki Iwamasa, a former member of the Japan national soccer team. He is a top athlete who played for the Kashima Antlers and was selected for the J-League Best Eleven and the Japan National Soccer Team, but he also has a unique background as a licensed mathematics teacher.

そんな彼が、いま、何を語ってくれるのか。
満席となった会場には、女子サッカーの永里優季選手や、昨季までFリーグ・バルドラール浦安のトップチーム監督を務めた米川正夫氏らが訪れ、他の競技からも高い注目が集まっていることをうかがわせた。

1stセッションのテーマである、「勝てるチームと勝てないチームはどこが違うのか？」。
組織を語るうえでよく通るオーソドックスなテーマのひとつだが、日本のサッカーチームを例にして組織論が語られる機会は、決して多くない。
サッカーの世界では、「自分たちのサッカー」という言葉をよく聞く。チームにはそれぞれ得意なスタイルがあり、その得意なスタイルを、いつしか「自分たちのサッカー」と捉えるようになる。

だが問題なのは、チームが勝てなくなった時だ。その時、多くのチームは、「自分たちのサッカーを貫くことが大切だ」と言って、スタイルにこだわる傾向があるという。

なぜ鹿島アントラーズは勝つことができるのか？
鹿島アントラーズが行っていたことは意外にも、単純なことだった。 「ダメなら変える」 たったこれだけだ。
自分たちの得意なスタイルは持っているが、それが相手に通じなかったら、スタイルなんて変えてしまえばいいと割り切って考えることができる柔軟さがあるのだ。
なぜなら、目的はチームが勝つことであり、自分たちの得意なスタイルがあるとすれば、それは勝つための手段でしかないからだ。
つまり、常に勝てるチームとは、選択肢があるということだ。得意なスタイルを捨て、別のスタイルを選択し相手を上回ればいいと考えることができるチームは強い。
